How we check a product
The same steps for a woodworking plan, a piano course or a meal plan.
We start from the seller's own pages
We read the sales page, the checkout and the refund terms, and write down every claim and every price.
We separate claims from contents
What the seller promises versus what is listed as included: modules, files, access, support.
We check the money side
Price, optional extras offered at checkout, guarantee window and who actually processes the refund.
We look at the seller's track record
Time on the marketplace, published refund rate and recent buyer feedback, where available.
We say what we did not check
If we did not buy or use a product ourselves, the review says so in the 'What we checked' box.
We put a name and a date on it
Every review is signed and shows when it was last checked. Sellers do not see a review before it is published.
- We do not run lab tests or clinical studies.
- We do not accept payment for placement or for a favorable review.
- We do not hand out scores, stars or awards.
- We do not give medical, financial or legal advice.
- We do not follow buyers for months, so we cannot measure long-term results.
How we make money
Checked by Us is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and buy the product, the seller pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra and it does not change what we write. Details in our affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
Found a mistake or an outdated price? Email contact@checkedbyus.com and we will check it and update the review.
We read the seller's own pages, the refund terms and the marketplace track record before we write a word, and we say plainly what we did not check.
